Session 9 specifically addresses the often-used statement “God is in control of this world.” Here we learn that in the Garden, God gave dominion of the earth to Adam. When Adam sinned, he (Adam) relinquished that control to the Devil. Numerous scriptures demonstrate that God is love. In contrast, our world today is under the Devil’s control and reflects his character–sickness, war, lying, adultery, murder, and worse.
